7:00 AM we will depart for your overland journey to the North East of Vietnam. The trip take you through beautiful vistas of the countryside of Northern delta as you see rice field, tea hill and people do farming works.Arriving Ba Be by noon times, after lunch take a boat trip downstream the Nang River into Ba Be Lake, visit the Puong Cave and get off the beaten track to the scenic Dau Dang waterfalls. You can admire the majestic beauty of the water and mountains of Ba Be forest, as well as famous attractions such as An Ma Temple, Widow Island … Boat stop at Widow Island, you are free to swim at Ba Be lake, relax fishing or join the program of bamboo rafting. Cruising to Tay village. Visit the village and share the daily activities with the Tay people. Overnight in the homestay of Tay ethnic minorities people in the village (simple stilt house accommodation).
Have breakfast at the homestay and Depart for Cao Bang. Admire spectacular mountain landscape with terraced rice fields and minority ethnic villages dotting the hillsides., you continue conquering the passes with beautiful scenery of the mountains such as Wind pass, Khau Khang pass, Tai Ho Sin pass, Cao Bac pass, Ma Phuc pass …Enjoy lunch at Quang Yen town. drive to Pac Bo Cave – the former headquarters of the Vietnamese revolutionaries. Here, Ho Chi Minh used to live in a cave near a beautiful stream in early 1941, when he re-entered Vietnam after 30 years of living abroad in search of ways to liberate the nation from French colonialism. Our morning drive takes us from Swiss lakes to Swiss Army. At the once-secret Swiss army bunker at Fortress Fürigen, we’ll see part of the massive defense system designed to keep Switzerland strong and neutral. Afterward, a short drive into the countryside brings us to the charming Alpine village of Engelberg, our picturesque home for the next two days. We’ll settle into our lodge then head out for an orientation walk. Our stroll through the village will end at the Engelberg Abbey, a Benedictine monastery with its own cheese-making operation. You’ll have free time to wander back before dinner together. Sleep in Engelberg (2 nights). Bus: 1 hr. Walking: light.

And An easy way for us to travel along the Lo River to the city along Tuyen Quang River, then we will follow the peaceful countryside with countless paddy fields to Hanoi.
