3 Hours Before Flight Time
This itinerary was designed for visitor with limited times to discover Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s busy capital, sits at the junction of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers. It was a hub for both the Khmer Empire and French colonialists. On its walk able riverfront, lined with parks, restaurants and bars, is the ornate Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, displaying artifacts from around country. At the city’s heart is massive, art deco Central Market.
Arrival at Phnom Penh by Air Asia, meets with your tour guide, and transfer to check–in hotel. Wevisit the Royal Palace situated on the site of the former citadel, and next stop will be Silver
Pagoda, home to a glittering array of Buddhist statuary. Then we visit the National Museum, theworld’s leading museum of Khmer sculpture. We continue visiting Wat Phnom. Overnight at hotel
Breakfast, we visit the killing field of Cheung Ek – a soccer–field–sized area surrounded by
farmland, the killing fields contain mass graves, slightly sunken, for perhaps 20,000 Cambodians,many of whom were tortured before being killed. We visit the Toul Sleng, known as the Museumof Genocide Crimes. And then go shopping at Russian Market, we proceed to visit the
Independent Monument, and then NAGA WORLD casino or visit Night Market (if time
permitted). Overnight at hotel, Phnom Penh.
After breakfast, you are free at leisure until transfer to the airport for onwards departure flight
