Traveling to Cu Chi, you will learn about history of Vietnam in American war times to understand how Vietnam can defeat American. High light of this trip, you will travel to vibrant Mekong delta to see local traditional life.
Upon your arrival, our guide will welcome you at Tan Son Nhat Airport and transferred to hotel in center Ho Chi Minh City. HCM City is a political, economic, social and cultural centre in southern Vietnam that was established in the late 17th century. Over the past 300 years, it has become a splendid urban area with many cultural features, particularly its classic architecture which has created the spiritual cultural values of the city. Rest of the day is free for own arrangement. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
In the morning visit Cu Chi tunnels, the incredible underground tunnel network which were more than 250 KM long and three level deeps, constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for Vieit Cong victory. Back to Ho Chi Minh city for lunch. In the afternoon, visit War Museum, Reunification Palace and Notre Dame Cathedral & Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Left the bustling city behind, you travel to Mekong delta which is known as rice bowl of Vietnam which produced three crops per year. Journey takes you through scenic rice field to My Tho, one of Mekong Delta province. Upon arrival in My Tho, we embark on a boat navigating around the small canals in the delta region, which passing My Tho fruit market. Joining in with daily activities of local people and enjoy the atmosphere of water world along the canal and along the Tien river. The exciting cruise continue to Unicorn island, here you can taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy the local traditional music, performed by the islanders. Having lunch at a typical country garden house. Next stops are the coconut candy “mill” and some other local industries in Ben Tre province. Drive back Ho Chi Minh City for overnight.
