This all help visitor to see Vietnam as Vietnamese see and discover different colour of Vietnam. Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival You are arrival at our thousand years Capital – Hanoi city. Our guide welcomes you at Noi Bai International airport and then transfer to your hotel in the city center. Overnight in Ha Noi Day 2: Hanoi City (B) The full day tour commences with visit to Hochiminh’s Mausoleum (Mondays & Fridays closed), His House on Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda. Stop at Trung Nguyen Coffee Center or Beer Hoi for a relaxation before continue to visit Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam (the Temple of Literature). In the afternoon, discover more of Hanoi with the visit to Ethnology Museum of Vietnam. Next up, roaming to the down town for quick visit to Ngoc Son temple, stroll around Hanoi old streets for looking and shopping & enjoy Water Puppet show at Thang Long Theatre. Overnight in Hanoi. Day 3: Hanoi- Viet Ancient Village (B/L) 8.00AM: Take a short drive to visit Duong Lam ancient village, 50km west of Hanoi. It’s a purely agricultural village of the Northern Red River delta where some hundred-year-old houses are still well preserved. Upon arrival, visit Mong Phu hamlet- the only hamlet whose original village entrance gate remains intact and Mong Phu Temple. Discover the daily life and farming, practice of Vietnamese peasants along the rice paddy fields with stop at two ancient houses– the biggest ancient house was built 200 years ago and the most ancient house dated back to 400 years ago. After lunch, visit Ngo Quyen & Phung Hung Temple, dedicated to two national heroes who led revolutions against Northern Chinese invaders for autonomy and independence in 7th & 10th century and Mia Pagoda, built in 15th century with collection of 287 statues of various materials. Optional easily cycling around the sites is available for those who love cycling. Late in the afternoon drive back to Hanoi. Day 4: Hanoi – Mai Chau-Pomcong village (B,L,D) After breakfast, we’ll depart Hanoi for Mai Chau which is gate way of northwest inhabited by Thai and Hmong- ethnic minority people. We will stop half of the way in Hoa Binh for refreshment before driving more 2 hours up to Mai Chau. Journey takes you through fields of tapioca and sugar cane as well as rice paddies. You will stay home stay in traditional long house in Pomcong villages of Thai people, after lunch you will have chance to troll around some Thai villages such around. In the evening, we will enjoy traditional dance show and drink home made rice wine . Day 5: Mai Chau – Hanoi (B,L) This morning we say good bye with Thai people and have the opportunity to stroll around the village before returning to Hanoi. On the way back we stop at the friendly Muong village, before continuing onto Hoa Binh town for lunch. Day 6: Hanoi – Ha Long bay – the World heritage (B/L/D) After breakfast, take 3.5 hours drive to Halong bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Upon arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. The cruise passes by many rocks and islets in many funny shapes. The cruise may stop for a while for visiting a beautiful case, if not today, you will do tomorrow according to each boat/junk’s itinerary. Again your dinner served on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (optional) and later overnight on board. Day 7: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (Brunch) In the morning, take further cruise to explore the beauties of the Bay before returning to the Wharf. Enjoy brunch on board before disembarking.. In the evening, catch night train to Hue. Date 8: Hue-World heritage sites ( B) Arrival Hue in early moring after refreshment and have breakfast, we will discover Hue -former imperial capital city of Vietnam which was acknowledged world heritage in 1993. Hue served as Vietnam’s capital under the emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. Although time and warfare have taken their toll, Hue’s atmosphere of regal serenity remains in tact. In the morning we will visit Imperial Citadel and visit Thien Mu, a beautiful pagoda located right on the bank of Perfume River. Then we will drive through countryside and visit Tu Duc and Khai Dinh Royal tombs. Back to Hotel and the rest of time at your own leisure. Overnight in Hue Day 9: Hue- Hoi An This morning we drive to Hoi An ancient town, another world heritage sites in Vietnam. Hoi An was major Asia trading port in 16 th-17th centuries. Hoi An offers ancient Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture and traditional Vietnamese hospitalities. We will cross Hai Van Pass where you will have magnificent view of the China Sea. Stop at Lang Co to have break. We wisit the fascinating Cham Museum where you will see intensive and diverse collection of Cham breathtaking sculptures dating from 7thto the 15th centuries en route to charming Hoi An. In the afternoon, take a walking tour of the ancient town centre to visit the former merchants’ homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, a Chinese communal hall and the colourful market. Overnight in Hoi An. Day 10: Hoi An – Tra Que village (B) Cam Thanh village is about 4ha, during the Vietnam war this was the shelter for liberation troops and nowadays this place is famous for providing seafood products for Hoian Town. Joining this tour you will have a chance to learn some traditional fishing techniques and how to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats while exploring the tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways of a past war. On this tour, we provide an authentic social and cultural insight of the local way of life. As well, you will take part in some hands-on activities that are fun, safe and interesting to people of all ages. 09:00 Walk around the vegetable village and join in the daily activities with local farmer there. 10:00 Buffalo riding, nice and fun experiences. Continue riding along De Vong River to Hoi An Beach wharf. 10:30 Embark on the boat to Cua Dai sand dune, enjoy casting net show and learn how to cast net by local fisherman. 11:30 Continue to Cam Thanh Water coconut village, have a brief introduction about the place. 11:40 Take basket boat rowing along the water coconut river, Fisherman will teach you how to catch crabs (02 pax/ boat). If you are in big group, we need to divide into small teams for basket boat racing and catching crabs. A lovely present awaits the winner afterward. 12:40 Embark on motor boat, enjoy the folk songs show by local people while light lunch be served special local food such as pancake, Tam Huu spring rolls , fried fish …After lunch, learn how to make funny tools by water coconut leaf. 14:30 Continue to the ancient town, experience the daily life of fisherman along Thu Bon River 15:30 Get on Bach Dang wharf, take a bicycle back to Hotel. In the evening, walking around to discover Hoi An ancient town by your self. Overnight in Hoi An. Day 11: Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh City (B) Take morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, heading to Cu Chi tunnels, the “Iron Triangle”, which was more than 250 KM long and three levels deep, were important for our Viet Cong basement in the American war. Back to Hochiminh city for a quick view of the busiest city of Vietnam by visiting the Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Post office, last stop at China Town. Check in hotel and overnight in Hochiminh city. Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L) In the morning, take 2 hour drive southwest of Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta which is known as the rice bowl of Vietnam. Upon arrival, take a boat cruise along islets and tropical orchards through the canal of Vam Xep to reach a small islet, followed by a relaxing walk along shady and palm fringed trails passing by local villages where you can see their peaceful daily life. Stop en route to sip special tea with honey and sample fruits with a local family and share their stories of life in the Mekong Delta. They will guide you on a walk through their orchard and explain how tropical fruits are grown. Then continue the journey with a paddled sampan through the narrow, tree-lined canals of Mekong River. Enjoy lunch at the islet then visit handicraft villages and a coconut candy factory before returning on shore for driving back to Ho Chi Minh City.. Day 13: Ho Chi Minh – Departure (B) Free time until transfer to Saigon airport for your flight back home. |
